Leo Bisson has over 30 years of litigation and trial experience in Vermont state and federal courts. He has tried over 50 cases to verdict and has been lead counsel on over a dozen appeals.

Leo’s primary practice areas are tort defense, insurance coverage and professional responsibility. His tort work includes lead poisoning claims, products defense, wrongful death and carbon monoxide exposure. Leo’s insurance coverage work focuses on environmental contamination, construction defect and reinsurance issues. Serving as a mediator and ENE evaluator comprises a significant portion of Leo’s practice currently. He has mediated over 150 cases involving a wide variety of substantive areas. He regularly holds mediations in the firm’s Montpelier and Burlington offices.
