As the manager of the firm’s human resource function, Lisa Geer handles employment matters for each of the firm’s four offices. She works with employees at all levels of the organization to assess and monitor resource needs and develop solutions that are consistent with the firm’s commitment to excellence in client service. Lisa coordinates all recruiting, staffing, training and performance management activities. She works with the firm’s Compensation Committee and Chief Operating Officer on employee compensation, is responsible for planning and administering the firm’s benefit programs, and monitors employment law compliance.

Lisa joined the firm in 2004 with 20 years’ paralegal experience, including ownership and operation of a small Vermont-based business offering specialized paralegal services. In 2006 she assumed responsibility for the firm’s human resource function.

Education:

• Lisa attended Trinity College of Vermont and has participated in numerous conferences, seminars and workshops related to the human resources profession and various law practice areas, including mergers and acquisitions, complex financial transactions and immigration and naturalization.
