Gender Pay Gap Remains Shockingly Unchanged

According to a recent report from the White House Council of Economic Advisors, the gender pay gap remains relatively unchanged, despite decades of progress in other areas. The report also found that the median salary of a female worker is about 76% to 78% of similarly qualified men in the same position. As the spotlight on equal pay becomes brighter, pay secrecy becomes more and more prevalent. Of those surveyed, 31% of workers said that discussing pay was discouraged by management.
