Legal Assistant
The Client Intake and Finance Support Specialist will play a key role in supporting the Firm’s new matter intake, finance and accounting processes. The position involves a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and timely processing of client billing and collections.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the full scope of the matter intake process, including conflict check procedures.
- Process credit card payments from clients.
- Assist with the client billing cycle.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline and maintain efficient contact and conflict management databases.
- Support the Finance Team with various tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions and tasks.
- Capable of working efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Prior administrative office experience required.
