Earlier this month, Alexandra Clauss and Jon Eggleston were business panel speakers at the Carrefour Québec International conference. The conference, which was held at the Hotel Jay & Conference Center at Jay Peak, Vermont, was a joint mission of CQI and the Vermont Quebec Enterprise Initiative. The purpose of this event was to connect Canadian companies looking to establish a presence in Vermont with Vermont-based business owners and professionals. Given the relative complexity of doing business in the U.S., Canadian business owners often rely on consultants, advisors, and lawyers in their efforts to form strategic business plans.
