Jeremy Grant is a dedicated attorney committed to providing effective legal solutions to his clients. With over a decade of litigation experience, Jeremy understands the importance of resolving issues prior to litigation whenever possible, saving clients time and money while achieving optimal outcomes. However, when litigation becomes necessary, Jeremy approaches it with a balanced and determined approach, always striving to protect his clients' interests.

In his practice, Jeremy assists clients in a variety of legal matters, including:

Trademark and Intellectual Property: Jeremy has a passion for trademark law and takes pride in helping clients protect their brands and intellectual property, which are often some of their most valuable assets. He assists clients with trademark registration, clearance searches, selecting new marks, responding to cease and desist letters, and resolving potential infringement cases. Jeremy also helps with copyright infringement cases, both defending and prosecuting them. Additionally, he has experience in helping clients protect Trade Secrets and deals with nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements. Jeremy enjoys assisting startups and entrepreneurs, providing counseling and strategies to protect intellectual property.   

Employment Law: Jeremy's expertise in employment law extends to advising clients on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). With a focus on proactive guidance, he helps employers manage difficult employment issues to avoid litigation and conducts independent workplace investigations. Jeremy frequently presents on various employment and HR topics and guides clients through difficult HR issues of various types. He also drafts employee handbooks, employee benefits, and employment contracts.

Healthcare: Jeremy specializes in employment issues for healthcare clients, providing comprehensive legal support to ensure compliance with employment regulations and navigate complex legal challenges.

Litigation: Jeremy has a wide-ranging litigation practice, representing clients in state, federal, and administrative adjudications. He handles environmental, commercial, IP/trademark, and employment disputes with diligence and skill.

Professional Background

Jeremy graduated from Boston University School of Law, Cum Laude, with a concentration in intellectual property, earning honors for his academic achievements. Before joining Primmer Piper Eggleston and Cramer, PC, he gained valuable experience as a litigation associate in Bangor, Maine, and as a legal extern for the Office of General Counsel for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. He also has a master’s degree in International Environmental Policy and Chinese from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies.

Community Engagement

Outside of his legal practice, Jeremy is actively involved in the community. He serves as the president of Burlington Youth Lacrosse and coaches each Spring, demonstrating his commitment to making a positive impact beyond the courtroom. He also does pro bono work for the Vermont Asylum Assistance Project.
