2018 Snow and Ice Management Association’s 5th Annual New Hampshire Salt Symposium

At the invitation of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, on September 11, 2018, John Prendergast was a presenter at the 2018 Snow and Ice Management Association’s 5th Annual New Hampshire Salt Symposium. John presented to a group of 200 business owners in the snowplow and winter maintenance industry regarding the state’s statutory liability protection afforded to certified salt applicators. John utilized a fictional case study based on a lawsuit John and Primmer’s litigation group has defended under the immunity statute. John also reviewed pitfalls to avoid in qualifying for statutory immunity, and presented an overview geared toward business owners on what to do and expect when being sued.
