We are pleased to announce our newly elected Board members for 2026: R. Ryan Gadapee and Ryan M. Long. Both Gadapee and Long are shareholder attorneys with the firm. Their Board role is effective January 1, 2026. Attorney Shareholder Ralphine N. O’Rourke has also completed her term of Board service and will be stepping down effective
January 1.
R. Ryan Gadapee
Attorney Gadapee is an experienced captive insurance attorney who advises domestic and international insurers and reinsurers on complex regulatory, corporate, and transactional matters. His practice focuses on insurance regulatory
and legislative issues, captive insurance, corporate governance, and compliance, and he works closely with clients to navigate high-stakes business and regulatory challenges with a strategic approach. Ryan is actively involved in leadership roles with the Vermont Captive Insurance Association, and regularly speaks at industry conferences.
Ryan M. Long
Attorney Long is a seasoned commercial litigator focused on business litigation, regulatory and administrative matters, and bankruptcy and reorganization issues. Ryan is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Vermont Bar Association, serving on its Board of Managers and as the Chair of its Young Lawyers Division. Attorney Long has served as pro bono counsel for The Vermont Asylum Assistance Project since 2022.
