CWEVT Community Classroom: Employee Handbooks 101

Share Tweet Email

This year has presented small businesses with new challenges that impact how employees come to work, and customers purchase their products and services. The Center for Women and Enterprise VT (CWEVT) offers opportunities to grow, learn new skills, and join a community of peers in the business community who inform and inspire.

In the CWEVT Community Classroom, volunteers from the business community in Vermont offer trainings and business resources for aspiring and established entrepreneurs. You can find a full course list on the CWEVT website.

Coming up on May 21 from 2-3pm, Attorney Alexandra Clauss will be offering a course titled, Employee Handbooks 101. In this training you'll learn tips and tricks to starting or improving your employee handbook. You'll leave with a template Sexual Harassment policy, which is required by Vermont law, and the framework to create a paid sick time policy that is compliant with Vermont law. Register Here
