
Elizabeth Willhite Elected President of Orange County Bar Association
We are pleased to announce that Associate Attorney Joseph Strain has been selected as President-Elect of the Windsor County Bar Association. Attorney Strain’s one-year term began on July 1st, 2026 and will run through June 30, 2027. At the end of this term, he will serve a term as President of the organization from July 2027 through June 2028.
Joe is a member of the litigation team with Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer. He is an accomplished trial lawyer whose zealous advocacy in and out of the courtroom has led to favorable outcomes for hundreds of Vermont litigants in the criminal, civil, and family divisions of the Vermont Superior Court.
Attorney Strain is a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College’s Trial Practice Institute. He is a member of the Tri-State Defense Lawyers Association and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Joe has also previously served as the President of the Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
He lives in Bethel with his daughter, and works out of our offices in Woodstock, Vermont.
