Primmer Announces New Managing Director for 2024

Primmer Piper Eggleston & Cramer is pleased to announce Shireen T. Hart has been named Managing Director of the firm, effective January 1, 2024.

Attorney Hart has been practicing law in Vermont and New Hampshire for nearly 30 years. She advises all types of healthcare entities and individuals on the complex and growing legal and regulatory challenges in healthcare, including regulatory compliance, professional licensing, and corporate governance. Her clients include hospitals, designated agencies, skilled nursing facilities, trade associations, and individual clinicians, on a local and national basis.


Throughout her time working with Primmer, Hart has maintained leadership roles in her local community. She previously served as a Commissioner on the City of Burlington Police Commission and chaired the 
KidSafe Collaborative Board of Directors. She currently serves as Past-President of the Burlington Business Association, as an Officer and Director for ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, and as a Director on the Vermont Chamber of Commerce’s Board.


As Managing Director, Hart will be responsible for the overall performance and vision of the firm. Of the opportunity, Hart said, “My strategic vision includes expansion of Primmer’s legal services, both statewide and nationally, while continuing to be one of the best place to work for our dedicated staff. We have an excellent senior leadership team and board of directors to help me guide the firm forward.
