Primmer Contributes $2K to Fight Against Breast Cancer
October was National Breast Cancer Month. meant to raise awareness for the disease, and make a call for donations to help find a cure. In 2022, breast cancer was the most common cancer in women in 157 out of 185 countries. It caused 670,000 deaths globally, and about 2.3 million women were diagnosed with the disease. With such astronomical effects, it became clear that our team at Primmer could try to help with funding a cure.
With that in mind, the Primmer Board of Directors put out a challenge to all six of our offices. If employees could fundraise $1,000, then the company would match the donation. Proudly, Primmer employees did, in fact, raise $1,000. Donations came in from employees in both our Vermont and New Hampshire offices.
At the conclusion of the fundraiser, the Board matched the donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for a total donation of $2,000.
