John R. Monson
Brendan O’Brien is an experienced litigation attorney whose practice focuses on complex commercial matters, insurance coverage disputes, toxic tort litigation, product liability litigation, and claims for personal injury. He has tried cases to verdict in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont. In addition to his trial work, Brendan has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration, having resolved hundreds of matters through alternative dispute resolution.
Brendan also has substantial appellate experience. He has argued before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the Vermont Supreme Court, and briefed numerous appeals before these courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Outside of litigation, Brendan counsels banks, businesses, and educational institutions with respect to contract, employment, and risk management issues.
